Individual Volunteer
We have individual volunteer opportunities at KFS SCHOOL. We hold Volunteer Orientations monthly and offer FREE Volunteer Trainings for "Long Term Committed" volunteers. This process is for adult volunteers (18+).
Type of Volunteer Activities
Academics
Volunteers are needed for at least two hours a week to help KFS SCHOOL students with their classroom work under supervision of the classroom teacher. Grade levels are from K - 8 with focus mostly on elementary school levels. Our KFS SCHOOL helpers are acting one-on-one tutors (Shadowing one child).
Sports & Wellness
Engage and teach our students how to play sports and/or how to be physically active! Volunteers are needed for at least one to two hours a week to help kids learn fundamentals of sports, new fitness skills, and a love of being active.
Music
Share your love of music activities with our students by supporting our Program. Engage the kids in various lessons such as Instruments, Voice, Song Writing and Performance, as well as help to set up and/or clean up music room spaces.
Visual Arts & STEM
Share your love of arts & hand on activities with our students by supporting our Program. Engage the kids in various projects such as painting, craft, drawing, photography, pottery and more, as well as help to set up and/or clean up art room spaces.
